The MAC Cosmetics limited edition Baking Beauties collection is filled with fun pastel shades & adorable packaging. We saw the press release for this collection & absolutely fell in love – anything cupcake related & we are sold! We couldn’t wait to try out the nail lacquer – 3 pretty Spring shades.Screen Shot 2013-05-01 at 10.26.35 PMIMG_1153

Bleu Velvet: Well, we love the name. Because it instantly made us think of this & this. This polish may not be named after David Lynch or Lana Del Rey, but the colour was so beautiful – a perfect name. This polish is a light periwinkle blue cream shade, with a purple undertone. We used 2 coats for the pictures below for full coverage.IMG_1164IMG_1168

Confectionary: This light pink cream polish has a blue undertone, giving it a cool-hued look. This polish was a little on the sheer side. We used 3 coats of the pictures below.IMG_1146IMG_1149

Pistachio Crème: Pass the ice-cream, the light teal mint screams chocolate chip mint in a bowl! We used 3 coats for the pictures below. This was our favourite shade of the collection. A great mint/teal pastel shade is always necessary for warmer months.IMG_1158IMG_1161
