SWATCH REVIEW: SECHE NAIL LACQUER

If you read PYP you know we are huge Seche Vite fans. The quick dry top coat is one of our absolute essential nail items. We were so excited when we heard the brand was making a line of nail polish shades. The line was introduced last year but a little on the difficult side to get here in Canada. Hooray – it’s now here!

Seche introduced a line of 32 one coat, fast dry nail lacquers ranging in colours from soft pinks to dark grey. The polish is formulated with rich pigments for one-coat application that dries to a high-shine classic Seche finish. All polishes had the same consistency – it was a little on the thicker shade. We like thicker polishes it’s better for coverage & less coats!IMG_0974

Rose II: We fell in love with this shade. The pale pink creme dried such a beautiful classic shade. This is one of those colours our moms try & steal. The only con with this polish was it was definitely not a one-coater. We used about 3-4 coats for no visible nail line.IMG_0966IMG_0971

Irresistible: Described as a dark pink creme, this polish dried more of a red tone. We only needed one-coat for this shade for full coverage. This colour is a great year-long shade.IMG_0977IMG_0979

Aristocrat: We liked the added gold shimmer in this rich eggplant polish. We still gravitate towards darker shades until the sunshine is out & seeing how it was an icestorm in Toronto last week, we were all over this colour. We used only one-coat for the pictures below.IMG_0994IMG_0990
