NAIL ART TUTORIAL: LUCK OF THE IRISH

St.Patrick’s Day is basically just a party holiday right? While you’re drinking all of that green beer and singing Home For a Rest don’t forget to show some holiday love to your tips with a St.Patrick’s Day mani!LOTI1

Step 1: Begin by applying a base coat, we recently started using Essie – First Base & we’re in love. Once your base has dried, paint nails with Sephora + Pantone Universe Color Charged Graphic Lacquer in Emerald. This is the perfect St.Patrick’s Day nail shade! We used two coats for full coverage. The formula was smooth and creamy. The polish shade dried a bright medium green, with almost a jelly and matte finish.LOTI0LOTI2

Step 2: Using OPI – Alpine Snow & a small dotting tool, paint 3 hearts in a triangle pattern – this will be the petals of your clover.LOTI3

Step 3: Take a skinny nail art brush & paint a long stem for each clover. Add a few little more details – a small emerald green detail on the leaves & some gold dots. We thought the design needed a little something extra so we using China Glaze – Midnight Kiss to dot some scattered small polka dots. Don’t forget to seal in your design with a top coat!LOTI5

What will you be wearing on your nails this St.Patrick’s Day? Have you tried any of the other Sephora Pantone collection? We’ve been eyeing the emerald green brush set. Tweet us your thoughts @PolishYouPretty + @Sephora!

Sephora  + Pantone Universe Color Charged graphic lacquer is available now at your local Sephora – $12.00 for 0.54 fl oz.
