We always end up back at the polka dot. We can never get enough. After seeing the amazing nail art designs created by Leeanne Colley at the Revlon nail event last week, we were so inspired by her use of the polka dot. So, we decided revisited our old faithful friend!

Step 1: After applying a base coat, paint nails with 2 coats of OPI – Can’t Find My Czechbook from the Euro-Centrale collection. We are in LOVE with this turqouise-blue shade. The polish is a perfect medium shade to wear all year. It applied evenly and smooth, overall great formula.PD2

Step 2: Using a 2-sized dotting tool, use the large dotter at the base of the nail working 3/4 of the way up. We used the solid black shade from the Revlon – Night & Degas Nail Expressionist. The black polish makes the bright base shade pop.

Step 3: With the small end of the dotting tool paint the remaining 1/4 of the nail with scattered small polka dots. Don’t forget to seal in your design with a top coat!PD4

Today’s nail art design can be used in any colour combo & the design works for all seasons! What do you think of our Polka Dot Party! design? What is your favourite polka dot design? Tweet @PolishYouPretty or Instagram us your thoughts!

absolutely LOVE LOVE this….will try and re-create.

  4. The dots are fantastic – definitely a must try. Where did you find your dotting tool? I can never seem to find one, and end up using a tooth pick (to some not-so-fantastic results)…

  5. They look gorgeous I love spotty nails x x

  6. This is a very pretty blue black nail creation!

  7. I love the colour combo and the different sized dots on this mani! I am sure it reminds me of a dress from a movie or tv show, but I can’t remember what it’s in!
