If you are not familiar with Make My Day, firstly – what rock are you living under? Secondly – you need to jump on board! Not only do they do some seriously eye-catching nail art, but we recently found out they make their own polish (double win)! Hailing from Argentina, this company does it all & constantly impresses us – check out more here! We were anxiously awaiting the arrival of this package, although there was one fatality 😥 (Canada is a long way to travel from Argentina!) we couldn’t wait to try out the surviving members – which all have first names, adorable.

Gilda – this colour is a bright, almost neon pink with a peachy undertone, reminds us of a tropical popsicle – we were most excited to get our hands on this one! The polish applied like a jelly, needing 3 coats for coverage in the pictures below. This colour made us crave summer, in a big way – it’s the perfect colour for tanned skin & a hot day.

Roma –  we were expecting all the others to be the same formula wise, but we were wrong! Roma wasn’t a jelly & applied like a dream, great great formula – 2 coats for the pictures below. This grape shade is so lush and rich on our tips – it has a vibrant tone without being on the louder side (Color Club – Pucci-licious).

Ines – again with the surprising formulas! This forest green polish applied almost evenly with one coat, two for the pictures below to cover-up holes. This colour dried flat (without a top coat) without looking matte – we’ve never come across anything similar before. The shade is a bit darker on nails vs. the photos.

Lara – we love jelly polishes, but it’s hard to find one that doesn’t take a ton of coats to look proper – except Lara! This medium blue jelly applied almost evenly with one coat, again who knew that even existed? not us, we used two coats to cover up holes. The colour is a bit darker in person than in pictures below.

We love Make My Day – it’s so great when you find a company that is well-known where you are and they totally just blow you away! Their nail art is a daily inspiration and we urge those who love nail art to check out their site &/or try out some of their polish. Stay tuned later in the week when we’ll be incorporating Make My Day polishes into a nail art tutorial! Let us know what your favourite Make My Day shade is on Twitter or Facebook – & follow them at @mkmyday to check out more of their great work! These product(s) were sent to us for review, please read our disclosure policy for more information.

These are all gorgeous! I’m guessing there are dupes out there for people who can’t order from Argentina. Gilda looks very similar to Trout Pout by Butter London. The formula sounds amazing and looks great.

Those are some gorgeous colors. I had never heard of Make My Day before, thanks for linking it! My Spanish is a little rusty, but I’m all about the pretty pictures anyways. Is there a separate shop for purchasing the polish? I can’t seem to find a link on their main page.
